Yeah definitely can't wait for part 2! I also can't wait to try this and hopefully be able to get it down. Those last two combo's are the ones I like the most! They always sound so good together, just can't get the hang of it though. After practicing with them and watching this vid over and over hopefully it'll begin to come together

@Shiva - one thing that’s helped me over the years is being more deliberate when practicing. For example - I’ll practice chirps ONLY for a few minutes, trying to get them cleaner and cleaner each and every session. Do the same thing for transforms, flares, baby scratches, tears, etc. The first few years that I started scratching - I would just freestyle, and I found that I would plateau quickly, because I didn’t have each and every scratch down, perfectly. Good luck, brother! Happy DJing!

In any Art ( Martial especially) was trained when I was 18 to not disrespect any other Martial Art style just because I don't practice that particular art. Find a instructor that's good for YOU and what's your goal. Some academies as long you pay on time all the time they'll give you the next belt then that student will get exposed in the streets. This falls into that category. I viewed MANY "How to " videos regarding DJ'n and I would pay to attend your class if you were in Nebraska and had a school...you sir are the real deal

Yo! Thanks for the sub! So I’m using two rane 12 controllers/turntables, and the mixer is a pioneer DJMS9. The controllers are $799 or $899 each, and the mixer is is $1500 now I believe. If you buy it in a bundle, you can get all 3 for a discount from: idjnow.com - I use that site a lot. There’s also the rane one controller that just got released not too long ago that’s a more affordable option and incorporates my set up essentially in 1 controller. I think it’s approx $1500.

Imagination, grabbing vinyl playing side B if I wanted to mix acapella or instrumental manually matchingBPM ALL MANUALLY, I just feel it's lost its true meaning of a DJ with all the technology can make a one day DJ scratches and patterns sound like Jazzy Jeff or yourself ..being a musician ( piano my favorite) who use to produce beats Makes me SMH when someone who didn't SACRIFICE ANYTHING ( skipping parties, instead of playing outside ,practicing 1 hour every day) just loads a program via computer which does ALL THE WORK.. GIVE ME A KORG keyboard, work station, 12-16 channel mixer...I got the rest. . Have a 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 ass beat RIGHT NOW
