Hey Matt, so I've been doing simulated process for a couple of months now and I was wondering why sometimes screen printers tend to print darker colors first, like red before the yellow or black first on a white tee, I thought the general rule of thumb was to print those colors last, and go lightest to darkest. When should I know to print in a different order?

Hey! It's to help keep the ink from migrating into the lighter over print colors. Generally your dark colors don't need a white base, so you're printing it right after the white base into the shirt, and then your lighter over print colors are sitting a level up on the white base, if that makes sense.
