I used the motion tripod (commonly referred to as a gimbal) to showcase the actual driveway prior to sealing. You must not be watching the full video! The Vyper chair is still in the box. I am trying to find the time to do a video that does the chair justice!

Looks amazing I did my driveway about a month ago same product two coats I used 7 gallons approximately 800 square feet the concrete was super dry it sucked up the sealant looks so nice now. I used a non slip additive you ad it to the sealant when the driveway is wet you don’t slide at all you stick to it. Nice job Rick looks great. 👍🏻

Bro, do you use the same thing to seal your concrete garage, under the swisstrax? And how often do you do it?

Yeah, I use the same sealer for the garage floor. Thing is, that sealer on a smooth concrete floor becomes a skating rink so I don't recommend doing that unless you have a floor such as my Swisstrax that lays over top. I do the garage floor every year, but I am going to do the driveway every couple of years.

You'll probably only need a gallon to do a walkway.

There's likely still some sealant on there from last year. Do you have any reaction of the old sealant with the new? Some driveways around here have white stained patches from too frequent application. Maybe using the same brand each year avoids this. I do it every 2 years using a solvent based sealer from Sherwin Williams.

Hi Ryan, the tile is called Swisstrax and is ribbed so water drains through, check out Rick’s videos on why he chose the flooring, how he cleans it and the drain install.

Hi Ryan. Martyn is correct. The Ribtrax style of Swisstrax tiles allows for the free movement of water beneath the surface of the floor thus allow water to follow the direction of your concrete floor. Yes, it totally helps block stains. When the sealer is freshly applied, any liquids will not penetrate the concrete at all. As the sealant fades, the possibility of absorption goes way up.

Cost for that product is 5 gallons $200.00 to $230.00 pending on where you buy it. Worth every penny stay away from the water based sealant or your driveway will end up with white patches also wears off fast. Hope that helps ya.
