I have spent all morning watching videos of your work. So gorgeous! I have been just doing a mod podge alone over top of my wooden dot pieces, would that act in the same way for the isolation layer? Also, when you speak about the varnishing yellowing overtime, does that happen more frequently than not? and how do you go about removing it and reapplying? Thank you so much for all your beautiful work and dedication. 😊

Hi, Lydia. Your work is amazing. I am new to dot painting and love your tutorials. I think I also bought some tools from your shop. Anyway, I have done a wood tray and finished the dotting at it’s bottom. I’m going to leave the rest of the tray black. I want to put resin on the bottom of the tray but what do I do with the rest of the tray’s sides and bottom? Just varnish over the Golden middle coat? What should I apply first, the resin or the rest of the tray? Do you have a video tutorial on the order in which this should be done?

Nice pendant! Never knew about the isolation coat, I usually use the normal varnish paint you get at local hardware store or the varnish spray from Amazon. Thank u so much for this info!
