Billy Goat sucks. The housings break and the impellers are plastic. Toss a 9hp Honda on an old Bannerman or get yourself a Scag Little Wonder. The only reason the Little Wonder crack cleaner they showed in the vid are good is because it has the dual belt that does not toss belts twice a week.

@@tocarules I'm debating between a heat lance or the Little wonder for cleaning cracks prior to hot melting with my RY10 Pro. Is the lancer better?
@tocarules Жыл бұрын
@@jerrysmith9780 I hope your talking Little Wonder edger and not a blower. Blower will do nothing. The Dollar Store sells elongated wire brushes on a stick that will work better than a blower or a lance. The heat lance only looks impressive. The best thing is a gas powered walk behind edger. I recommend the Little Wonder edger @4:55 as the commercial edgers have the dual belt that also work wonders for edging grass. Single belt models blow a belt once every few hours. Dual belt last years before belt replacement. Not only for crack cleaning, but using the wire brush for edging eviscerates the grass so you dont have a long string of sod to put in a wheel barrow to hide under a bush somewhere. Just blow it off into the lawn and your golden. I buy the 8 inch twisted wire wheels and to be sure they come with the little plastics washers to adjust for your arbor diameter. Dont crank the nut on too tight either as the direction of the wheel naturally tightens the nut. If the nut ever did happen to come lose, the wire wheel will just stop spinning. Just saying as that if you have a wheel on a long time they can be a beech to get off as you need a pipe wrench on the dual v belt and one on the nut itself. If your gentle tightening the nut you can hold onto the wire brush with your glove and a wrench on the nut. Ten times faster than the pipe wrench way. If you ever get into a really deep edging job where the grass is overgrown 3 or more inches, I cut up an old lawn mower blade as they are 1/4 inch thick, dont dig into the asphalt/cement etc and last way longer. Dont fret about not being balanced as after 10 minutes of use, it will be balanced. I dont even worry about the arbor size matching. Just use the large washer and as before, if the nut comes even slightly loose, the blade stops working.

This type of seal coating works - squeegee is imperative for quality seal coating. The companies that just spray and walk away are taking your $. Brush and squeegee are a must. Good video.

Lol, your sealer is garbage - Its constantly watered down from distributors. There is always trash in it, but you'll probably never mention flushing dirty sealer out of old tanks which have not been properly cleaned prior the winter before, so whatever. No one ever, is going to fill cracks in a parking lot out of a 1 gallon tube, so why advertise that? Machines are "ok" at best, but some don't come as advertised either. Shocker right? Thanks for sharing, glad I got to comment the truth.
