I guess the main suppliers, brewer coat and seal master are just plain idiots because they actually recommend spraying sealer FYI. Also I have worked for both major supplier as well as own and run a large sealing business. People who don’t spray are usually small business who can’t afford the spray equipment and what goes along. Talk to any major companies. I guess we will hand brush our next 1,000,000 square yard project 😹😹 brushing is for residential driveways bud. Thank you have a good day! BAM!

this is a "in genreal" question. when someone decides to repave a parking lot, is it better to tear up the existing asphalt/concrete or just pave over it? is there (I'm sure there are) differences & if so what.
@TyKubinski Жыл бұрын
It’s better to tear it up and start over that way you can make sure the base is good. But it’s cheaper to do a overlay. But I dont recommend overlays because it will just mirror the problems of the old asphalt onto the new asphalt.

Fucking eh right! Finally, a seal coat video where guys are pulling the edges like normal people. It was fun to watch you guys go back and forth and finish pulling sealer old school style like I used to do with a squeegee back in the day. I try to get the young guys on my crew to do that because it’s so much quicker but they’re too impatient and get frustrated easily and then I have chew ass and send them back to a rookie edge so they don’t jam me up. We’re using brooms now obviously. I have to tell you it was fun watching you guys haul ass! That’s the way my right hand man and I roll too!🤘🏼Having said that I would have sprayed it after running edges. Too busy to pull those by hand.

The striping paint that is used on parking lots today is water based, and doesn't last as long as the petroleum based paint used decades ago, same for roadway stripes eventhough a reflective powder is used that too wears away with the weather. Nice job on the reseal though.......

This is retarded, they're literally pouring hot liquid bitumen into the cracks, *sealing* them up, it prevents water ingress and by preventing water ingress you prevent future cracks, potholes, sinkholes and other problems.
