American and not a clue how to cook. I have a jamacian friend that has given me food with seasoning that I can't figure out. Is it jerk seasoning? No. Is it Cajon? No. Whats the brown sauce for ox tail that can also be used for chicken or rice? I LOVE that I came across and found tour tutorials and page. Amazing dishes. Word to the powdered seasoning. I make my own from whole ingredients and spices. My aunty said just the other year that growing up in the Jamaica , their granny never used powder seasoning but fresh seasoning from the land. Only powder they used was curry.
