One of my favorite staple exercises on BACK DAY! You guys know I love doing drop sets and as great as barbell bent-over rows are... it's much easier to switch up the weights on the cable machine (especially when I am training with my wife). But as good as this exercise is, it is VERY easy to have improper form. I think this is the hardest exercise for me not to cheat on. If I cheat, I can lift way more, but if I don‘t it‘s better for growth and injury prevention. And tbh it feels good to do it right. Thanks for your video Scott, I‘ll watch it before my next Pull day!
@ScottHermanFitness10 ай бұрын
Thats the beauty of adding a DROP-SET! Do some cheat reps for 6 - 8 reps, then drop the weight and go strict for another 8 - 10 reps. This way you get the best of both worlds. HEAVY Eccentrics and then controlled concentric reps!

I mean what the hell... Literally went through 50 different KZbin videos about how to properly do this excersise and I every one of them it was different. One says you need to lean forward and back like this one, other that you have to just lean back and do the row that way, another the same, but leaned forward and in the next one you just have to be 90 degrees to the seat... How can a novice like me get any sense of it? HOW THE HELL DO YOU DO THIS EXCERSISE CORRECTLY?!

Your videos are always awesome to watch 💪, but man i haven't been to the gym ifor a few years now, i used to enjoy doing the seated rows. Oh , hey Scott by any chance may you please make some videos on kettlebells, like cast iron and competition kettlebell, i bought a 50lb kettlebell from Walmart, nothing fancy, and i noticed some pretty amazing changes, no i do not do any kettlebell swings or any momentum type movements. I have been doing strict unilateral overhead presses, slow and controlled as well as dead clean to overhead press and goblet squats. What i noticed is that my shoulders are popping out nicely, especially my rear delts for some reason,y back has gotten wider snd my quads are looking or starting to look good too. I have been doing the same workout with my dumbbells with the same weight but they never gave me this effect. I thought i would share this with you and see what you think on the subject.

That weak grip thing is why I say the forearm is the most unappreciated part of the body. Jacked forearms only looks weird when they're larger than your upper arm, bicep and tricep together. Get two buckets with handles, fill them with water and just walk around until your forearms feel like jello, which shouldn't take long at all because of the water moving and your muscles trying to be stable.
