Dear Otzdarva, I disagree with this entire video. As a suvivor main and as someone who stands for peace, I believe that killers should not kill survivors because it promotes violence. In order to promote peace, I always show positivity: I show friendliness by repeatedly crouching at the killer whilst waiting at the exit gate; I try to show him that there's still light in his life by repeatedly clicking the flashlight at his eyes; I also use brand new parts to finish the game quicker, so everyone gets their first win of the day bonus faster; and I use medkits with syringes, since they are dangerous medical waste, hence why I, as a martyr, dispose of them with my own body.

You'll get kills but not many points. Not to mention, they might not come for the save. You won't get much chase and if they just sit on gens while you sit in the basement waiting for them, you don't get many points for gen damage or defending either. So eventually, you'll struggle to pip. Bubba is not as ridiculous as people make him out to be. Otherwise, more people would play him.

Step 4. Relax since it's already 3v1. Optional step 5. Select three close gens, defend them with your life like those found in Haddonfield main house and park.

Im playing the game for fun so I don't sweat to get 4K every game and tunnel/camp one quickly out that just becomes pretty repeating and it's not enjoyable playstyle for either side so I do it only when I have to. But why would you stop after it's 3vs1 you should tunnel next one out and facecamp the last or slug to be most effient and fastest 4K and you should do it with nurse or blight. It will eventually result your only facing swf:s with 4 med kits or toolboxes with brand new parts so I personally skip that and accept I don't win every game.

@@pena380 You tunnel 1 out early to have a near impossible chance to loose the game, but if you rush through kills you dont get many bloodpoints. 4 survivors, you are in trouble. 3 survivors, they are in trouble. As long as they are in trouble and not you are, you can focus on stretching the match, getting bloodpoints etc. Plus the salt will be less justified since you can always tell them how many gens they got done. They dont have to know you held back after your first kill just to milk bloodpoints out of the match.

As a survivor main I actually have some tips for new killers: 1. Trapper, contrary to popular belief, is actually an insanely good killer and you should exclusively main him 2. DO NOT use add-ons, they make everything way too complicated and it's way easier to play without them 3. (This one is the most important one): DO NOT USE YOUR KILLER POWER. Using your power and recharging it takes a lot of time, the basic attack is much quicker and a lot more useful during chases. 4. For perks I recommend Territorial imperative for information and Beast of Prey for extra stealth. To be honest you don't really need to use the other 2 perk slots, the perks I mentioned above are more than enough for solid pressure. 5. Hooking survivors is a long and difficult process so doing it is usually not recommended. And that's really all you need to know to start playing killer.

@TDG VILLEY Well, I guess my game knowledge of 5.6k hours on PC and a few hundred hours more on PS4 (can't check my total play time on console, just going off my Devotion level which used to be 4) isn't enough then because I disagree. Nurse having the lowest kill rate of the entire roster is no coincidence. Unless you know exactly what points are issues on what maps you will misblink constantly on - for example - Haddonfield or RPD. On console Nurse is also an entirely different beast, just multiply her regular difficulty by a factor of 5. That's why even okay-ish Nurses get trashed in the majority of my Survivor games and those who do win get carried by their build, not their skill (with enough insta-down perks you can whiff 2 or 3 blinks in a row, eventually you might get lucky and boom... believe me, I'd know, I'm garbage with Nurse). A serious Nurse main is brutal and insanely tough to beat, 90% of all Nurses out there are not that though, hence her low kill rates. Even at High MMR - where Nurse, Blight and Huntress are 75% of all Killers you'll ever see - her kill rates don't exactly go through the roof, case in point. I really wish I could see all those people (who - from my experience - are Survivor mains for the most part) claiming "Nurse = free win" play her against even a mid-tier SWF, I always fancy myself a good laugh. ^^

One small tip I would add that will only be useful on occasion, sometimes a survivor will try to get your attention to make you chase them. Don't waste your time, as a bad player I have fell for this trap and left the game with only a few downs. That player is likely to have perks specifically designed for chases and if they are in a group, their teammates will have gen accelerating perks. Your best bet is to ignore the survivor and go after the others. The best result is that survivor continues to try to get your attention (and not progress the game) while you push others off gens.

I find that hitting people trying to do protection hits is helpful most of the time. If survivors commit too hard to protect someone, you can take that and end the game right there by having everyone injured. I've had this happen where people would constantly try to do flashlight saves or they would go for the body block and doing so only gave me a free hit that was beneficial and prevented them from doing any more protecting unless they keep trying in which case they become downed as well.

Here's my tip for killer as a survivor solo q main: proxy camp and tunnel back and forth between two survivors. It's hard to coordinate in solo q and go for the rescue/do gens. Usually time is wasted getting a rescue and gens don't get done. However it does make for boring gameplay as a survivor, just saying! (edited for spelling mistake)

I think it's perfectly viable to ignore the "survivor handbook" sometimes, you have to play dirty. Tunneling can be countered by team mates that help each other. Slugging can...be countered by team mates that help each other. Camping can...you guess it! Be countered by team mates helping each other. As a killer, you are not obligated to change tactics to help the other side. If they don't help each other to counter these tactics, exploit them. It's how you win in war. It reminds me of in LOTR the Two Towers when Aragorn says something like, "Show them no mercy, for you will receive none". Just disable end game chat. I mean, you shouldn't be a mega ass hole straight out of the gate, but if you need to put pressure, there's literally no rules against being "toxic" as a killer. It's like taking the feelings and considerations of the opposing team in a sport into account like wtf lmfao. No. Play better. After all, isn't that what survivor mains say? "Just play better kekw gg ez".

for 4 kill part, i literally know the game is over if i find the hatch at 1v1 situation and i have "no way out". the last person has small amount of time to interact with the gate,attract me there(i get notified which gate it got activated on) and then somehow manage to hide from me for 60 seconds and then finally manage to open the exit gate. so if i have"no way out" on 4 stacks, and last survivor cannot re-open the hatch or do these above, i just follow them and watch them die to entity.

The trick to fourth kill is find and close the hatch before the survivor can. I fast travel and listen for it. Once it is closed, it starts the end game collapse. Move between the exit gates and you will usually catch them trying to open the gate. I have so high a success rate with this strategy, I will usually let them wiggle and chase them down over and over during the endgame collapse.

8:24 for this kind of early game strategy, I like to run Call of Brine, Eruption, and Trail of Torment. Call of Brine makes pushing the survivors off the gen worth it, and marking it with Eruption sets you up for later. Trail of Torment then makes it very easy for you to get to the next gen and get a stealth hit. Idk, I just really like Trail of Torment

12:50 today I had a "noobie" Meg dead on hook at 4 gens on Eyrie of Crows while playing Ghost Face. I downed her and I thought to give her a second chance. After that I couldn't kill anyone else (Meg also stayed hidden rest of game) and all of them escaped. Learned my lesson for sure😅

Really appreciate you uploading this video honestly!! I think I've started hitting an MMR where even if I easily get everyone to death hook, I still struggle to get kills by the time they open exit gates bc of my playstyle. I tend to be a bit too nice and really don't like camping even if it's the best play to make and would be dumb of me not to do it (especially as a Trickster main lmao), so I've been trying to brainstorm ways I can tweak my playstyle to get kills more consistently. I'm curious how other Killer mains feel about getting as many kills as possible. I personally do not really care about the endgame, or getting kills once the gates are opened. I will nab someone if they are very easy to down but I generally don't try to optimize to squeeze out additional kills. To me, once the gates are open and survivors are on their way out I kind of just want them to leave and move on to the next game. For me the fun part of the game is the early and middle of the game. I don't feel like the game really gives a reason to care deeply about getting the most kills possible anyway. I just want to scare some survivors a bit and getting a jumpscare feels better than any amount of Bloodpoints to me. When I run into survivors who have zero fear of the killer, I just kind of want them to end the game as soon as possible because that's not particularly fun to me. Opinions?

I enjoy endgame builds and perks, since at that point anything goes. It is a lot less predictable and dull than a typical “stretch-the-game-as-long-as-possible” playstyle the popular perks allow. I also like playing Call of Brine and Eruption, but only for their thematic effect (love Nemi’s rocket launcher and Sasako’s haunted house vibes that these perks convey) - been using them even before the recent buffs Which that “slowdown” combo, I would treat it as a sub-objective and go out of my own way to mark/explode 3+ gens at once, rather than playing “optimally” Optimal fun for me, essentially. Same with Endgame Piggy builds etc.

There is a difference between passively/intuitively employing a certain strategy and cataloging/reasoning its use in a systematic way. Conscience and awareness of one’s actions is what helps to improve decision-making, even for experts in their fields. Otherwise, you get tunnel vision regarding your understanding. Kind like a distinction between a person driving a car and a mechanic/physicist knowing what exact mechanisms allows for such action to take place. Might seem like a small deal, but when an unconventional situation happens (ex. Car broke/used routine is not working), you will have the awareness of how to get out of that circumstance. Sentience allows you to take charge of the situation rather than situation taking charge of you. This applies to many other spheres of life besides gaming/driving.
