@Beanbowill yeah, personally I feel clown isn't the strongest killer of them all, but his power does have decent potential, making him a high b tire for me and low a tire. But seeing a man make a 7 month long analysis of clown and then 6 months later come back again. I throw all the logic I have on him.

Typically in tournaments like these, the killers are sorted into types and you have to pick one of a certain type of killer with bans in place. This would've been the anti-loop type, probably, but excluding the strong ones like Artist, so Clown becomes one of the best options

@@sorin_markov Specifically for this round of tournament, the options were Doctor, Clown, Trapper, and Myers. the latter two would be an absolute nightmare to play so Clown and Doctor were clearly the better choices Round 1: Shape, Trapper, Doctor, Clown - Coal Tower Round 2: Wraith, Pig, Onryo, Ghost Face - Midwich Elementary Round 3: Huntress, Deathslinger, Trickster, Nemesis - Wrecker's Yard Quarterfinals: Dredge, Blight, Spirit, Artist - Gas Haven Semifinals: Plague, Onryo, Wesker, Pyramid Head - Dead Dawg Finals: Singularity, Twins, Knight, Skull Merchant - Azarov's

It would be amazing if it gave like a 25% healing debuff when others heal that person too or oblivious on top of it. They could even make it 120 seconds or more if they removed it from working on unhook protection hits. Great perk, just a little too niche compared to something like Make Your Choice.

If you guys watch a lot of otz's twitch streams, he's unexpectedly very skilled with Clown compared to the other killers, even though he doesn't play him as much as Dredge, Plague or Trapper. I am not surprised he picked him for the tournament, but I am surprised he doesn't acknowledge more his proficiency with him. Anyways, well played!

ive got 200 hrs in the game and started probably 5 months ago and the killer I probably have the most struggle with are deathslinger and clown. Clown basically countering regular looping is such a weird thing for me. At my 200 hrs I dont have nearly enough knowledge map related or in chase especially for weird killlers like clown, this really helps!

Watching comp matches like the ones during the DBD Community Cups will always be the reason I laugh at survivor mains saying the game is killer sided. The community cups do an excellent job of showing how strong 4 good survivors with good communication can be. Sadly too many survivor mains think they are actually good at the game and because of that if they lose obviously the game is killer sided.

8:14 they jump into lockers because it A) avoids jolt and more importantly B) forces u to grab them in case you intend on slugging. You can still drop them but it will waste more of your time

What about when the survivor uses the "beckon/come here" animation right before being hit, does that do anything? I've noticed a few survivors seem to do it but never knew why - including one of them in this video.

@@Primal_K They do that usually on pallet. As you know, when the killer hits u , u sometimes fly somewhere u dont want to. Pointing lets u die on the spot making a pallet save possible

Had no idea there were community cups! Ive really wanted to see just how Id hold up in a tournament setting. Im at a relatively low amount of hours at mayyybe 300 between 2 accounts. But thanks to you, Otz, and other wonderful high hour teachers in the community, I was able to break red ranks at around 100 hours. I feel like my performance, good or bad, would really do well to show the difference between studying and learning how the game is played, compared to learning through mostly experience. Thank you for sharing your expansive knowledge on the massive amount of info in the game!

Not sure exactly how the rules are setup for the cups, but if they work similarly to most comp settings, then reason the Renato went down for Adam is because Adam was fresh hook, meaning if you killed him that's 3 stages, versus if Renato died there's only 1 stage to be gained. Surprised they even sent Adam for that save to begin with because of that reason.
