Looks good. On the lasso straps the black sleeve is suppose to go in the ring and the point of contact should be inline with the axle (i.e. straight down to the trailer) with 10 and 2 as you mentioned.

That’s what thats for lol I always wondered why is there one of them if they are for the tire but I know now! i saw you comment, picked up another truck today and put the black sleeve through the ring! Thanks you! Appreciate this advice man!

I noticed on your Amazon equipment list that you have a 500W inverter. That kind (the cheaper ones) are modified sine wave output. The ones that you probably want to get are the pure sine wave output inverters. They cost a little more, but if you're charging laptops, rechargeable tool batteries, and other sensitive electronics, the cheaper one can damage or decrease the life expectancy of those devices. I recommend spending a bit more and not losing any sleep over it.

I started with what I had which was a 2500 truck and I don't have a CDL. So it worked out for me to get my foot in, before I make bigger investments. Also if you are starting up with no experience its not bad to go to school to get a CDL.

Whats the reasoning behind twisting the straps when you tighten them down?
@evasquez42173 жыл бұрын
If you don’t twist the strap you will hear a humming sound or the strap will flap the entire trip (very annoying). If it hums or flaps during the trip, the straps are more likely to come loose.

Just trying to weight my options with doing cdl hotshot compared to non-cdl! Can you do a scale video? Thanks for your help!
@HotshotMacc3 жыл бұрын
Great idea I should do a scale video. But honestly the way things are now with rates being so bad and so many getting into the industry, I say go in with a CDL set up. I can scale up to 9 or 10k lbs on my trailer and still be under. But having the option to go heavier would give me more options. Thanks for the feedback bro and sorry for the delayed response.

How do you stay under weight with a 1 wheel
@HotshotMacc20 күн бұрын
"Staying under weight with a 1-wheel setup comes down to knowing the specs of your equipment and being mindful of your load. You need to balance the weight distribution properly and make sure you're not overloading. It's all about knowing what your equipment can handle and staying within those limits
