IMPORTANT !! Hello guys, @iqbalkhaleed3318 commented about static damaging the systems. And he/she is right. Although, the chances of it being damaged by static is super low(i did it 3 times with no problem), it is not zero. So make sure you use an Anti-Static bubble wrap instead.

how about the monitor?
@lunosamaАй бұрын
@windows4223 not an expert advice here, but when I took my imac with me for a 9 hour flight with 2 transits, just used small pillows and soft jackets and shirts on the corners, top and the bottom. And tightly secured it with the suitcase belt. The key point is to have atleast 2 inches of cushioning and restrict any movement, be it in a suitcase or a normal box. If it's a curved monitor, make sure you fill the empty space in the curved section as well. Hope this helps :)

Is it safe using normal bubble wrap? Does it not make static electricity which can cause damage to the internal components?
@lunosama3 ай бұрын
@iqbalkhaleed3318 that's a really good point actually. I've never thought about that. I started doing this cuz the PC i order back in 2019 came in like that. So I did this 3 times, with more 10hours of flight each time, and I didn't have any problems yet.

@iqbalkhaleed3318 so I did some research, and it says that even though the chances of damaging the motherboard with static is very low, it is not zero. So using an anti static bubble wrap is recommenced. Thank you for bringing this up 🙂, I will pin a comment addressing this
