Thanks for sharing Good content brother, if i am using 12v dc power supply series with resistor and pn junction diode, then i swap the power supply then what value of PIV rating i choose? PIV= dc supply × 2.2 for safety it is better ? Or 15% of safety margin is okay?

If Resistor replaced by capacitor, at reverse biased condition voltage across the pn junction diode across 24v present? If 24v present what value if PIV value I choose, can you say any advice for this problem?

Excellent video.. First I've found to point me in the right direction! Can you please help with a suggestion? 52v dc circuit for a light and horn. I wish the switch for the horn to flash the light, but I do not want the switch for the light to sound the horn. The two loads are 3 amps each. Can you suggest a diode to prevent backfeed to the horn in my application?
