I am glad you didn't mention Dr. Scholl's because they are flimsy junk might as well use toilet paper. Now can you recommend a good insole for walking on concrete cement and also helps with sweaty feet to help eliminate some of that order. It seems like I can't find anything it's either one or the other but certainly got to be one out there that does both.

I would look at something treated with antimicrobial. I don’t believe any of our stock insoles feature that. We do stock this one with moisture control that can be cleaned. I’d also take a look at a boot dryer at the end of the day. Thanks for watching!boots.quadcitysafety.com/products/anti-fatigue-technology-insoles?_pos=1&_sid=590fd0a45&_ss=r

Have you ever looked at the Pro Max II high impact insoles? they're made for people working & standing on hard surfaces. 3 layered open cell foam that absorbs up to 90% more static & impact shock and they're antimicrobial too.

Quadcitysafety….Sir could you please tell me which insole has the most durable top material layer that is least likely to peel off? I pour concrete for a living and haven’t found an insole yet that the top layer material doesn’t peel off within a couple of months

I like the last one you referenced. I bought a pair of boots and even though the boots cost $200 the insole was reviewd and said to be crappy. Also what size do I get if my boots size is a US size Male 9 (D) ?

I was thinking of having my husband try the inserts you get fitted for at Walmart. What are your thoughts on those? Also- my husband is flat footed (size 11 1/2.), works on cement inside at construction of all types (his back bothers him if he gets over 180lbs) What ortho or regular inserts do you suggest for his Carhartt work boots?

It’s pretty late, but from what I understand and my experience (a DC picker) that sounds like he needs more support. I personally like the support from tread labs a lot, but the cushioning isn’t quite enough in my opinion, and cadence EX insoles have some pretty good cushioning and support. I weigh about 200 and found really cushy insoles to hurt my knees and the more supportive ones seem to help with that. If he has the time he should go into a store that specializes in insoles and get fitted there, chances are that they’ll have a better selection albeit at a higher cost than Walmart. The main goal would be for the insole to be stiff in the arch section so that it doesn’t just collapse when he’s lifting heavy things at work.
