EneSacarification do you need someone to welcome you to the real world, bud?
@BikerNic5 жыл бұрын
@@EneSacarification I think maybe you misunderstood. Creating the problem does not mean lying, it simply means that sometime people don't even realize that they have a problem until somebody points it out with a solution already available. Lying to make a sale is evil, But pointing out a hidden hurdle/problem is a good thing which will help people and they Will love you for the help, even if they had to buy your solution.

@@EneSacarification As silly as it may sound, I make and sell handcrafted items from naturally felled trees. Maybe this tree your grandfather planted and it developed a disease and had to be removed. Maybe the root system is so big it is destroying the plumbing under your house. This is just a small example. I make small items, usually spoon and bowl set and it isn't very profitable, yet, but when people know of my service they usually request me to make something for them instead of item already made with story attached. That item now is a heirloom they can pass on for generations with a story.

The pen is a symbol of triumph and prestige its used to write and sign off on your very identity as a person. The pen represents character and class to an extent unmathced by any other. Sure you could buy a fancy car, watch or any other item that provides temporary happiness but a pen, a pen is where true class resides. Why not invest a little in your own? A symbol of your character and achievements. With the Mont Blanc JFK Limited Edition. This pen tells not only a story but is a symbol of class and character. That is not a story. You only throw cliché values at "THE PEN!" and hope anything will stick. Don't forget: it's not about the pen. It's about the customer and your deep understanding of his needs, emotions, concerns. This one sounds like a snake oil seller. You don't understand the customer (Dan) as a human beeing like yourself who you want to help (and thereby help yourself too) but someone to steal money from. Maybe this will work on uneducated folks but not on highly intelligent peers like your customer (Dan). Keep in mind: a customer who lays down $800 for a pen doesn't need the pen nor the money. What he needs is (like Dan said): Emotions, reduction of their personal (in this case psychological/spiritual) pain and a story to bond all this into and transcend it into a living, breathing thing. At least this is how I understand it.
@psteeg35516 жыл бұрын

If you are just shopping for a pen, this one isn't the one for you. This represents an integral part of American history. It is an extension of the most loved president who ever lived. Owning it is a testament to your patriotism, your connection with history, and the love you have for everything this country holds dear. It upholds freedom, belief in the power of democracy, and a loyalty to the American dream. ''For Cologne is not only an ancient German city, it is also an ancient European city, a city which, since Roman times, has played a special role in preserving Western culture, and Western religion, and Western civilization. It is in this spirit that I come to Cologne to see the best of the past, and the most promising of the future. May I greet you with the old Rhenish saying, "Koelle Alaaf." -John F. Kennedy, Cologne Germany, June 23rd, 1963 If all you need is a pen, I will give you one right now. However, if you are looking to hold a piece of history, to preserve the memory of one of the greatest men to ever live, to hold onto and preserve the american dream, then here it is. You’re an important man, signing important stuff. You have a lot on your shoulders, people have a lot of expectation towards you and what you represent, even when you’re the client. Stability and properity. You’re right, a pen is a comodity, the ink is definatly the same, but it’s not the pen that I offer you. I’m showing you the tool that will make sure that people have faith in your words. If a President and all of his experts trusted this pen to be in his hands, international pictures and films, you should trust it too.
@yuktajain19744 жыл бұрын
You ask me why should you invest $800 for this pen, right? Before answering that, I have a counter question to you, What is your biggest goal in life? That’s incredible, so when you achieve that, would you rather sign a deal with a $2 pen or would you take out $800 from your pocket and say to yourself ‘ I believed in myself for which I made this investment’ and be proud of yourself? This pen will remind you to work harder for your goal , to achieve it no matter what. James Bond had this pen with him since the day he had a vision and he knew that for writing that vision , he needs something of value in his hand to make it stronger and heavier. And there we all know who he is without a line of introduction. So what do you think?

1.people don't buy logic.They buy emotions attach to the product. 2.people don't buy to get in.They buy to get out. 3.people buy stories attach to the product. That is how I would sell the pen: I would attach emotions,make them feel that it will solve their problems and attach great stories to the product.
@followapollo10015 жыл бұрын
The trick is to do that to a pen lol ... hard to attach emotion to a item as a pen, so you attach something to the pen like a name or symbol. Like this on has JFK, you wanna find someone who is into politics or history... or you make it relate to them somehow

Interestingly, not only is that pen a Montblanc, JFK Special Edition, but the cartridge it uses, is the Fisher AG-7. The Fisher AG-7 was developed specifically for NASA to operate in the extreme conditions of outer space. It uses a special ink that maintains a liquid state from -50F to +400F and never dries up. Unlike conventional pens the AG-7 uses pressurized nitrogen gas to dispense the ink allowing the pen to write in zero gravity, upside down or even under water. The cartridge was such a marvel of engineering and reliability that NASA still uses it today. The cartridge has even been used on the surface of the moon.

A pen is more than a just a pen, it’s an instrument that attaches your name to some of life’s greatest achievements - you buy a house, you buy a car, you get hired at your dream job - it’s the final action of that pen that solidifies it onto your life. The pen isn’t the memory but it creates the memory and every man should carry a good pen with him at all times. That’s not “sell this pen” pitch, it simply is a fact.

The moment the switch flipped was me sharing stories about my family or what I used to do before I owned the item. The next step was watching influencers and celebrities having the same product in their homes. Then you are selling a life style even in a coffee machine.
