How to sell geckos, and the gecko market explained

Would love to here an update on this video almost 7 years later, specially with Morph market in the mix. I personally have seen a huge growth in the gecko market even though I am a snake guy, I still love geckos and always pay attention to what's going on in that world.

I enjoyed this video, It really puts in perspective and something I tell other new hobbyists myself. I am a small breeder that is fairly new (4yrs now). I do product quite a few geckos amongst other reptiles. However I keep it small deliberately. Most of what I started with was normals and tangerines, just because they are cheap so If I failed it would not cost me a great deal in loss. I also do not start new projects until I am confident in old projects. I do not want more than I can handle, weather it be selling or just upkeep and food. I do continue to grow but at this point I am no longer taking from my own pocket and my hobby supports its self. I do not make any profit but I am creating revenue. Every penny I make goes back into the hobby. From my understanding this is where we want to be. I do sell out of stock but usually just in time for new stock to replace what I have sold with the exception of a few hold backs. I could not imagine if I was producing more than I can sell. But I have seen others do it and start just selling cheap just to get rid of it. Just because they can not afford upkeep. I have seen animals suffer because the breeder/hobbyist is overwhelmed, and I have learned a lot from my own trail and error. These are never good places to be. I will share this video with friends because this is exactly on point.

I liked your info. I don't want to be a breeder, but hey I have a mom and pop, they breed. Should I keep records of my babies, and who has them and what they are (male/female)? I gave my first babies away to good homes to good mamas.
