I am a dietitian that will dip my toes into med sales part time very soon… the impact the CGM has had on people is what makes my heart happy and has gotten me looking into this field. To hear this episode and be “on the fence” of even getting into sales bc of the icky feeling of being sales-y (which is what I do not want) gives me hope. We have to be in it for the patients. Thank you for sharing this story!

Hey Misty! I did car sales w integrity but had to constantly build trust and had to constantly fight the inner feeling of being stereotyped as icky. The constant theme I’ve found w Med Sales is the top reps doing it for the need to help people and that have kept me on this path back into sales. Good luck and know what you are doing is making a positive impact in someone’s life:)

Jacob! This is some of your best content to date. It resonates w/why I continue to want to break in and follow your content. From the day you said why you chose med sales being to help people and this is not about up selling but about providing patients with the best care as a rep. Ultimately, the money is icing on the cake but care of the patient and helping people is the goal!
