I like the attitude that we are providing a "transfer of confidence". If we are truly confident in a product or service, telling our contacts about it is not harmful or manipulative. Let's operate "in service to" people rather than "at the expense of" people. That's pretty guilt-free for me. What do you think?

Totally agree. If you're not confident in what you're selling, you probably shouldn't sell it! I love that phrase "transfer of confidence"
