@@hhhhhh5600 never did! I dont have any of those gadgets anymore. What i wanted was to text ppl and make calls all from my apple watch. But i beleive you have to be paired to even do that stuff.

Can you text with a GPS watch or does it have to be cellular ?

As long as you’re in Bluetooth range of your iPhone you can send/receive text messages on your non cellular Apple Watch.

Do you have a data plan for your watch? You could try turning off iMessage and just sending a plain text to see if this is the issue, or if the issue is data related.

I had it on my Series 1, so I'm not quite sure why you wouldn't have it. You might consider reinstalling watchOS if that's the case.
