Nice video and should help a lot of people with their maintenance. I clean my bearings by spraying electrical parts cleaner all the way around without removing the seals. I can see when the liquid becomes clear and know that they are pretty clean. Then I add a couple of drops of 3'n'1 oil from a needle dropper and spin the bearing to let the oil spread. It's not a perfect system, but it helps extend the life without getting to deep in the cleaning process. If my cleaning doesn't create a "free" spin of the bearing, than I know it's time to replace it.

My preference is just to replace any diff bearings. Mainly due to the wear and excess slop. Which will change the gear mesh and shorten longevity of the pinion and ring gears. I haven't used oils to rebuild bearings only use high pressure grease. I might give your tactic a try on my wheel bearings. 😮 But the 4 differential bearing check for slop and replace as needed. Ya know
