This is very impressive, Solim. I had no idea so much goes in a Seiko Solar movement. In fact, I am thinking of converting a Solar seiko movement in to a regular (non chargeable) movement. I think my Internal V172A movement IC may be damaged. I need to figure out a way to disable the Solar changing so I can use regular regular battery (SR916). I have replaced the rechargeable battery with 302334T, but the watch (SSC081) stops working after 2 days, even after 8 hours of charge. The watch is only 2 years old. It is a beautiful and unique watch..i must figure out a way to rescue it. You video really helps grasp what I may be dealing with. Thank you.

You are very skillful. What watch is this movement from? I have a Seiko Solar Chronograph Men's SSC769P1 would it be similar as it uses the same movement?

Do the Solar Dial’s have feet? If so can it be used on a NH movement with the same crown position?

I have this same movement in my watch, running about 30 minutes a day slow, i wonder if it's been magnetized? What else could cause such a loss? Thank you for a wonderful video.

If you have a solar watch? charge it in sunlight. If you do not have a solar watch, you can change the battery. Hopefully there will be a solution, thanks

my solar watch went flat in April 2022 then I gave it a 5 hour charge and it worked. However in june 2022 it went flat again after I left it in a dark watch box for a while. Now I expose it to light but it ticks 2 seconds and doesn’t hold charge for long. What can I do to revive the battery?

Put another magnet under the main bridge
