How to Service the Transmission on a 2009 Toyota Corolla

Tools Used:
-3/8in impact gun.
-3/8in extension.
-10mm socket.
-1/4in ratchet.
-1/4in extension.
-10mm socket.
-Long nose pliers.
-Screwdriver.
-Acid brush.
-Brake clean.
-Transmission fluid exchanger.
Parts Used:
-Full synthetic ATF.
-Transmission filter kit.

When you took the oil pan off, what is the name of that part that looks like a cylinder, I hit a curve and the oil pan broke and thay cylinder part broke aswell, I don't know if I should replace that cylinder part or the whole transmission, if you can help I'd really appreciate it.

How often do you change the transmission filter? I saw you put 14 quarts of ATF. Where did the old ATF go? Is the 14 quarts of ATF the total, or is that including the 4 quarts you put in to start with?

Every time I service it, I change the filter. It’s 14qt total and the old ATF getting sucked out and replaced with the new, the machine is a transmission fluid exchanger. Thanks for watching 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

Doesn’t the 2009 Corolla only need just under 7 quarts of trans fluid ? Why 14 quarts ? Did the excess fluid get flushed out ?

Roy I have a question I don't know if you can help me out with this I have a 2009 Toyota Corolla S. The car No longer goes forward when I put it into drive but will go into reverse does that sound like a solo nerd problem with the transmission. I have checked the transmission fluid and it's red someone told me this could be a solenoid problem.

Drain plug!!!!

He didn't remove the drain plug because he didn't want to buy another gasket as it will need to be replaced. Sometimes those new gasket don't seat well.
