Very informative, great presentation with regards to outlining the steps and process, and great clarity on decision making as it relates to bird behavior and hunt success. Well done!

Thank you! Very informative! Leaving for Saskatchewan this week. Have been putting our flyers in the bottom of the spread. Going to try them at the top now. Any suggestions on set ups without wind versus a windy day?

Do the heads really help? Or is it more about just coverage

I have no idea why KZbin recommended this video to me, but I enjoyed it nevertheless!

Thank You !! I been saying this for years and years. So sick of seeing hunters setting up J’s and U’s on every spread. You scout ducks and geese and you’ll never see those patterns. Set your dekes naturally !!!

Thanks for the tips! I know I’m one to set a J or U

So do you set up the same way where they're feeding as opposed to loafing? Thanks, Daniel

Wait, do you want to make your spread look natural? I didn't catch that.

I only have 300 decoys mostly all socks but have 24 shells and a ecaller is that good? Kinda new to snow goose hunting

My dad and I are also really new to snow goose hunting and I have heard the biggest key is to sound like as many decoys that you have. Last year was our first time hunting snows and we only had 36 socks and then tossed out 50 white garbage bags with chunks of clay in them to weight them down and we had a super cheep hand held e caller. This Year we upped our spread to 120 more socks and 12 full bodies then we got a couple of small fox pro e-callers so we can run more than one sound. Just buy a few things each year and try to learn from the last.

Bobby G have you had any luck on that spread?

That is good IF you only have a couple of guys OR if you can hide in some taller grass within 15 yards of your spread. Go to Perry Thorvig on KZbin and find the 2019 hunt. We used 330 socks and one guy in the grass shot his limit in one hour.
