I relate to this, thanks :) I was the one always feeling guilty if I had to tell coworkers or my boss no, and then would get stuck with more work. I learned to let go and no care as much of what people think of me. There was a meditation book called 30 Days to Overcome Guilt by Harper Daniels that I enjoyed.
