Mine looks like its a half tooth up off...chain seems tight enough. But won't start

Yeah mine wouldn't start all of a sudden, has spark fuel air and compression, but wouldn't start, so I took the cover off and the dot is about like 10 teeth off, which is weird

Found my problem was a bent valve

@@dirtbikerestoration9191 make sure the timing mark is lined up on the compression stroke... the piston has to be coming upward at the top of the stroke to align with the T

I took the head off my engine because it was seized I didn’t mark anything so when I put it on I just put it on randomly, and I don’t know what to do
