One of my favorite mind sets for manifestation is the place between sleep and awake. It's such a neutral space for me. I go to sleep thinking about what I want to manifest and drift off with those thoughts in my mind. That has worked for me. I definitely will try this method as well. I love trying new ways of setting intent.

i wrote my first intention and i felt the weight fall off my shoulders i wrote what i wanted and i tucked it away so i wouldn’t be tempted to look at it again. since the time frame i picked isn’t until some time next year, i will work on myself to support that intention to work.

I have been setting intentions this way and permanent ink does make a difference 😃 I didn't realize until you mentioned it in the video. Thank you for this video. I’ve wondered what to do with written intentions, last full moon I did 5 abundance spells and two were written candle spells first one I burned the folded paper, second one I put on top of previous burned out green wax candle jar and I put just the white wax part of a tea light on top ( removed metal cup ) so the wax would melt and encase the folded intention. My thinking is if I’m doing the same intention spell in this one jar I’ll have room in it for a dozen more times. And it’s a small jar. Was a green apple scented jar from Walmart. The first candle jar spell I used a prosperity oil with corresponding herbs. I made. Dug out some wax so it couldn’t flood the flame, drew runes on outside and signed the glass in that same thin point sharpie(!). Each step I put the same intention. The oil the wax the rune the paper and the whole jar with my hands cupped around it with chi ball, and meditation breathing. I did shower before hand but I hadn’t thought of it being a part of the process. It makes sense. But I have no tub. I did it because my hair takes forever to dry and I figured let it air dry while doing my work. ( btw I’d cast any spell for my curly hair to lay in waves like yours ) Oh and the very next day my sister treated me to a crystal shopping spree. 😃. Edit. Sorry but wanted to add after all that spell work I did fall into a very deep 2 hour nap.

I was watching your video about curse removal and you mentioned setting intentions, which is something I’m not unfamiliar with at all but kind of struggle with. I just haven’t found a style that suits me. You see, typically I would just say them in my mind, or feel them without attaching words, and it would work to an extent but never as powerful as I’d kind of expected. So I tried saying them out loud and didn’t notice much a difference in result. During the curse removal video, I kept thinking to myself ‘I need to learn a better way to really set intentions and ground them, so they’re not just floating around the ethers getting lost’ which is what I feel like is happening. Well. Fast forward an hour or two and I’m feeling kind of aggressive and irritable. So I come to KZbin to find a particular song to help me feel out and move these bad energies (I listen to a lot of aggressive rock n roll to help me remove negative energy from within myself) and the first video I see is this one. Well naturally I felt very strongly that, that was intentional (🥴) and that I needed to watch it. So I put the music on hold to do so. As you can imagine, it was absolutely in alignment with me and how I work. I mentioned before that I’m a Taurus, so the physical, the tangible is VERY important for me as it really gives me something to grasp. I can see it, I can feel it, I know that it is there, etc. So anyway, the fact that you write them down like a contract REALLY resonated with me. But it gets better! I’m an artist, too, and my medium of choice is ink. More specifically, Sharpie ink. I have two boxes of those fine-point pens in my night stand right now that my mom got me for Christmas lol. I just can’t help but feel I have to tell you when your videos hit me this hard. This one is even a few years old and it still made its way to me just when I needed it because magick transcends space and time and I just absolutely love that shit lol. I’m starting to wonder if you’re one of my spirit guides too! Like I said, Taurus, tangible, my first spirit guide was not only a living person but also one born into my family one year before me! We were both born on a Thursday, and both on the 26th of our month, too lol how cool is that? Anyway, thank you for posting and sharing your wisdom and what you’ve learned with all of us. You have such a gentle and warm energy, exactly the same as sunshine on a beautiful day and it’s a gift and a blessing to all of us that you’ve let it shine so brightly to where it could reach us. 🖤

Jess, you're awesome, thanks for the lesson in setting intentions...I haven't had time/chance to view all of your videos...though I have watched a few, so I have a request, forgive if you've already spoken these instructions on another video. So, my questions are this: when folding the petition what direction do you fold? toward you, away from you? Before using permanent marker/pens do you cleanse/bless & charge them? If your praying for protection for your home/family & the candle looks like someone cooked it in chalk what the hell does that mean? I have pictures if you need to see. I have a lot of negative energy running rampant around my home...it's my husband, he's very angry/negative/vindictive/narcissistic...I noticed the change in the candles when I began doing protection prayers for him...thinking he may have negative spirit influence. Prior to this I did protection prayers for myself & furbabies as his energy is seriously heavy & it makes me nauseous...I know that's a lot to ask of you, so Thank You in advance. I do smudge my home as often as possible, I have wards in place, have laid salt/herbs at doorways, my windows are covered in plastic to keep out the cold so I can't lay salt/herbs on windowsills. I am searching out information about when setting intention / spell work on self for addiction and happen to backslide however slight that might be, I am feeling that there is a possible consequence perhaps...? I haven't seen anything about this in the past that I can recall, but feel strongly that this is a true possibility and very real probability.... And I think that is what is happening with me right now and after being in intense pain right now for over 24 hours at this point I remembered that this came to mind yesterday a couple of times like a message saying that this IS what is happening but I would get caught up in the severity of the pain and just couldn't think / focus and would forget about it.... Well I woke up this morning and instant intense pain and feels like my feet are literally on fire, they are so swollen and red and seriously it is so weird because they don't even look like they belong to me, they don't look like my feet and feel like they are being disfigured and OMG the pain....So you are my first person I have reached out to and am about to also make a Dr appt as well... So my question is Jess, and anyone who reads this and has knowledge about this please, do tell.... If a person sets intention to take away something such as an addiction, and they bring that thing back in (as this does often happen with any addictions) does this cause them problems, and how to reverse, discard that intention and refresh and cleanse etc.until ready to set again, can they "reset" this intention....? I don't have an altar as I live with people who don't believe in the spiritual path and I can only practice either when I wake up early or when I am home alone. And these days being home alone it rare for me. But when I do wake up early at 3.00am and have my shower to wash away that negativity from the day before then I will do a mini ritual just for me. Which is of a candle and incense I am using at the time. I can only do it when at time. But I know my time is coming when I have my own place some day. It is hard when you are surviving on a disability pension and carers allowance. I do write my own spells in my magical Journal. When I first started in January 1st 2017 it was called Book of Shadows but not any more. I own two tarot decks.

That's what I'm trying to manifest is to be on disability. I had open hesrt surgery and kidneys failed so now Im on Dialysis 3xs a week. So to work is difficult. I also have some kind of blood disorder that we cant figure out. But I am soooo blessed to have my own place where I can do my spiritual work. How did things turn out for you for I see you sent this a year ago.
