I’ve got the 42mm watch from 2006. Great travel watch. And the most comfortable watch ever. The titanium has such little mass it’s like wearing nothing. My favourite feature being the repetition minutes. Middle of the night you wake up. Just reach over and press the crown and count off the time without a light in your face. Change time zones in a plane just rotate the crown to add or subtract hours. Most accurate quartz I’ve owned due to the thermo compensated feature. All in all a belter if a watch. Nice wide bracelet and rides really low on the wrist. Cool tech piece with an almost steam punk feel with that dark dull titanium look. A cracking beater watch that I’ve seen for a healthy discount all over the place. Every watch nerd needs a Breitling Aero in their collection. Just for shits n giggles.

I has one from 2004, it was stopped a few years ago and now I don´t remember how to put the funcion to give a sound every hours, do you know how to do? Thanks very much.

@@luisesalgado55 first step - get a battery fitted. Having a fresh battery cell installed will dramatically improve your chances of getting your quarts watch to function correctly.

My goodness this tutorial is without question still relevant. Just picked up a pre owned Aerospace in pristine condition. And for the life of me couldn’t get the minute hand aligned. And your video ironed it out for me. Thanks a bunch!!!

Brilliant review. Gets straight to the point, no waffle, just informative facts and explanation of the functions of the watch. It's all covered here in a few minutes. I hope people interested in this watch came here first.

this watch is seriously cool. 1) there is nothing wrong with a quartz watch 2)This embraces the quartz abilities and makes adds really cool and useful functions. 3) It's its own thing and just seems fun to play with!

Well, it basically works the same as the original Tissot Twotimers with the ETA 958.335 did--with some new features. There are a ton of similar watches available in all price ranges, from a basic Certina to a Tissot up to these Aerospaces.

Nice tutorial. That is however a ton of crown usage. How many have been repaired or replaced over the years I wonder?
@akeeldberg52184 жыл бұрын
I once had a Certina with a similar combined analog/digital display and pretty much all the functions shown here in the Breitling, except for backlight and most of the sound effects. Price was around $400. It served me well for 10 years, but when it finally broke dorwn the repair cost was equal to a new watch.

Charles Ingham their Navitimer is more complicated than turning and pressing a crown. Anybody that’s ever had a Casio can use this.
@PopBubbleWrappable5 жыл бұрын
Nothing complicated to me about my Aerospace. Matter of factly, I like the crown being the single source of manipulation because everything seems more intuitive to me, as opposed to multiple pushers and buttons on other watches where I have to consult the owner's manual multiple times over.

This is what quartz did to watch making! This could have been the ideal officers watch. The potential is right there.. Although I used a Seiko 5 day and date for many years in the army, having an automatic watch was really helpful after discovering the tendency of quartz watches to “die” at worst possible moments.
@yashav29495 жыл бұрын
DATING HARLEY QUINN Agree totally!! Seiko achieved tremendous things and created entirely new niches. I think that many watch hobbyists go threw Seiko (and some simply remain) I still have that Seiko 5 for my army reserve. Had an alpinist in white (6R15) that I sold. At the moment I owe a Tudor and a Rolex which help me with my work and feel of esthetics.
@yashav29495 жыл бұрын
DATING HARLEY QUINN My alpinist was a white one. I try to buy the least obvious models. Rolex is an explorer 39mm And Tudor is a Bronze diver

@Magister Ludi i fully agree that G-Shock offer great value and are really cool. This Breitling is built to a somewhat higher standard and quality than the G-Shock and has a different aesthetic and will therefore appeal to a slightly different audience. Second hand these are superb value and so are the G-Shock watches.

the problem with watches equipped with such electronic windows is, you can hardly see anything there. And it is not because it is small, it's because of lighting conditions, unless you turn the watch light on. Whatever you want to use, chrono, contdown timer , etc, sometimes you don't see clearly unless you turn the watch straight into your eyes etc. Traditional display with hands etc is much faster in my opinion, you can see from any angle where the watch hand is. In the brand/model I have, aviation watch, with all those alarms, time zones, etc etc, the light goes off raally fast, and in alarm mode you can not use it at all, as the button turns the alarm on and off. Basically, in the nighttime, useless.
