Nice video! A ameture's question: If I shot VFR 100fps, and project FPS 25fps. Can I set this VFR video clip plays in video editing software at normal speed as if it was shot at 25 fps?

Hey thnx for watching! If you want to edit 100fps, you have to set the speed to 400% to play back at normal speed. I edit in premiere pro. I don't know if it's the same in other programs. Hope that answers ur question.

Hey thnx for watching! Do you mean using an external mic on line in on the camera? Or when you edit? The in-camera sound not syncing is a known issue.

I'm eagerly awaiting my M4 to arrive and I'm watching your videos to prepare to shoot. Coming off using the A7iii and A6400, so I'm slightly nervous, but your videos are helping me ease the anxiety! One quick question, unrelated to slow-mo or any subject matter in this video, I also ordered the Viltrox Sony Lens Mount to change out the MFT mount for, how difficult is it to change out the front face mounts? Are the screws prone to stripping? Is there a certain degree of tightness required when tightening the mount back onto the front face? Thanks for your videos, they're very informative and helpful!

The only option that will allow me to do anything over 60fps is h.265. Everything else is 30 or 60max. Any ideas?

Set your preferred resolution. If you like your timeline at 23.976 FPS I will also set your project FPS at 23.976, 24, 25 or 30 depending on your preferred timeline. After that go to your "variable frame rate" and select the frame rate you prefer. all of this is talked about since minute 3:00, great video!

Hey thanks! I use the samsung T7 ssd and so far no issues yet with high frame rates.

Maybe you need to update your cam, because on my e2-m4 with firmware 0.97.1 when I set Playback FR. to VFR my video recorded at VFR fps, not project fps.

@@LottacamStudio I mean, if I set playback to VFR, my videos have the same fps as I set in VFR option and not slowed down to project fps. For example: 1 case) project fps: 25, VFR: 50, playback: VFR. Then video will have 50 fps (not slowed down) 2 case) project fps: 25, VFR: 50, playback: default. Then video will have 25 fps (slowed down twice to project fps)

That's not true! You set vfr slomo setting you can play back slomo. Then set default , you can play back your project fps.
