How to set timing belt on Montero Sport

Hello Where did you get the plastic protector for the alternator? I have a leak .. i need this plastic Can you tell me where that oil leak you have comes from? I have the same problem and I don't know where it comes from, I hope you can help me before I start taking apart the entire engine to get the leak. Thanks👋🏻

I own a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport. That is a very common leak on this model and it comes from the camshaft seals.

Line up mo muna yung crack shaft then yung cam shaft atras mo isang groove at tapat mo yung cam shaft sprocket mark sa belt mark Tapos turn mo counter clock wise yung sprocket using 14 or 15 socket itapat mo sa mark ng valve cover para Di sya kumalas zip tie mo yung belt sa sprocket then ganoon din ang gawin mo sa passenger side sprocket atras ng isa Tapos turn mo yung sprocket para mag line up sa valve cover mark dahan dahan ang pag ikoy sa sprocket yang passenger side may tension yan at pa nag tapat na lahat adjust mo yung adjuster pulley puede kang ginamit ng kahoy pero shape V laga mo sa pagitan pasok mo dahandahan at check mo yung belt kung masikip na at yung pin make sure nabubunot mo at na iba balik mo Tapos higpitan mo na yung adjuster bolt at turn mo twice para mag tapat yung mga timing mark Tapos paandarin no at pag una far at tahimik your done then re check mo yung belt tension sa una ng and are maingay kasi Di pa nag kalahati ang lahat at Di pa umaakyat ang langis at pa tumahimik na patayin mo na kahit walang tubig ok Lang basta may langis start mo Lang pag umandar ok timing mo

That's a 3.0 not a 3.5 the timing marks are different on the valve covers for each engine

3.0 or 3.5 as long it’s running I’m a mechanic since 1979 I’m rebuilding engine gas or diesel 4 to 10 cylinder
