I talked to Masso and tried to get them to add the m06 command in the system so I could assign it to one of my external buttons they refused. I do have one of the buttons assigned to home and one to park. Another helpful video for sure

There’s a thread on the Masso forum that requests that Masso add “Go To Work Origin” to the configurable user inputs. Many folks have signed onto the request, including myself. Maybe you should start a similar thread for the m06? forums.masso.com.au/threads/go-to-work-origin.3557/

So in your example, you set the Z Axis value to zero in the Tool change position dialog box (@ 3:05). What I’m not understanding is that wont a Z Axis value of zero set the tool tip on the work surface? It looked like you spindle went all the way to the top.

I see what you’re saying, but setting the Z axis to zero (0.00) should raise the spindle all the way up, making for an easy tool change. In this situation the Masso recognizes 0.00 as the upper limit of the Z axis. Anything below that would have a minus (-) in front of the number.

Sorry, circling back on some videos. Watched the video, but didn't see how you would re-zero the bit after the change if not using a tool setter.

How do you access the F1 setup screen? Right now it has a pass word lock on it. I don't see any information on what the default password is.

When it prompts you for the password just hit the “enter” key on the keyboard. There is no real password, unless you create one.

You must have missed a step, or two... When you start any program you must first set the tool height. Otherwise you don't know where Zero is on the tool tip...
