I'm wondering if I can use a quartermaster 7.25 v-drive with my already installed mcleod TO bearing set up? Any issues of I just set shim depths and run it?

I have a question? I have a QuarterMaster clutch just like that in my race car and If I push my clutch peddle in all the way the the engine decreases at idle and shuts the engine off in my race car. Would this be caused by to much shims? If I push the clutch peddle 3/4 of the way in it grinds going into reverse but 1,2,3 gear are fine. So when I push the peddle in all the way so it doesn’t grind going in reverse that’s when the engines idle lowers and engine dies. Is this because of to many shims and no air gap?

This video and finnegans garage are the only two that explain this correctly. Others are taking measurements from the engine to the fingers and other whacky stuff. Same answer, but more steps and alot more confusing. For such a gorgeous clutch setup, am I the only one kinda surprised how chinsey the bolts with washer stacks look?

My 97 stang just has the bearing that slides on to my clutch fork and then i slide my fork and bearing onto the shaft! Do i need to adjust anything?

I have a mechanical Relay rod setup on my vette, just 2 screws and I'm done. Don't need to deal with this BS. Don't need to worry about a leaky piston or hose either.

Sir I really need your help in this clutch sounds. There are no hard shifting in gear transmissions, everything is normal. m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/eoetdHiIoNyGaNk Sir, it happens only after replacing with new clutch. And this sound did not come with the old clutch. Any ideas or suspect regarding pressure rings getting hard...? And how to identify hard pressure rings?
