Hi Ovidiu, I need your help. I have BMW ISTA D and for some reason I am not able to write information to the DME. I tried to change the injector values after installing a new injector and I was not able to. The error message I get is “NOT OK” against cylinder 2. I tried registering a battery and it was not possible but I can read and reset fault codes without any errors. Very strange but with your expertise, I am confident you may be able to help me. How can I get in touch with you?

Thank you very much to share your tip with the phone connection! When I'm out, I always bring the cable with me but now I know I can use it wireless even outside! I have a little question about the leds on the icom, on mine the "com" light is red when I connect to a car... Sometimes it flashes red/orange but never goes green (or may be I saw it green a couple of seconds on a E series car one time and that's it). My second question is, when I use icom with a F or G series, the reading is fast, but when it's a E series car, it is much slower to read and find the VIN... Is it normal? When I use K-dcan cable, it is as fast as the F and G series... Thank you!

Do you have the original ICOM ? The E series is a little bit slower because the communication protocol is at lower speeds! Also, on E series, if a module is missing/ not responding, it will take a longer time to scan the car

@MOvidiu Thank you for your reply. Yes I have original icom. On the same car I tested icom and k-dcan cable, and the icom is much slower (it was on a E60 and that car had no errors, all ECU'S green on the tree). Except of that and the "COM" led in red, my icom works fine 🤷🏻

Depending on what you're using it ! Enet cable is good for coding with Esys, but ICOM will do programming with ISTA, everything on E series! Voltage reading and much more!

I did everything according to the guide and the wifi connection works. If there is a problem, if I want to code the e series via e-sys, is there another way to connect the icom head. I have an original head, not a clone

You can code using wifi, be aware of vehicle battery voltage, and your laptop/tablet battery! But to do programming you need cable !

Yes, you can connect it to whatever wifi network you want as long the network settings are accepted by ICOM

You can , there is an app that transforms your laptop wifi in a modem , bit will message up other enet settings on your laptop and if you use different interfaces your screwed

Hello! Yes, you can retrofit rear view camera on your G30 even if the vehicle didn't have that from the factory. Official, it can not be done, that's why they told you No!
