For anyone wondering you can use Studio monitors and subs with an audio interface that has many connections (tho they are mainly used for studio home use or streamers that need that XLR port) and simply connect via usb C or the micro port to ya PC. Downside is they don’t have Bluetooth but they do have a headphone jack for audio playback and hearing ya mic recordings

I need some help. I have the same subwoofer + sony Bookshelf SSCS5 + focusrite scarlett 2i2 3rd gen. I am trying to decide if this way, buying fosi will be better for sound quality from my gaming pc or using audio interface that I already have. If I use the audio interface, what cables I need and how I connect them?

im trying to do this but i only have 2 speaker connections on the back of the sub it says (from amplifier hi level in) what to do????

It would appear like your image will be muddied by the sub. I don't think you're getting 2.1 audio this way. You need a digital connection, with a crossover setting. You have good gear, might wanna go that route.

Sorry man, but connecting things this way you are using the cheap PC DAC (digital to analog converter) that do not sound great at all. Get yourself a DAC, connect it to PC via USB which is a digital connection and hook up the Amp to not the DAC. That way at least you’ll be getting more value for your very good bookshelf speakers and subwoofer.

I've got the r51m hooked up to a Fosi BT30D what would you recommend putting the treble and bass knobs at? Am running just the two speakers until i can get a woofer on my pc

Does your computer have a green speaker out? I have a Y splitter cable from pc speaker out to my pc BOSE speakers and 10” KLIPSCH powered sub plugged into Y cable and an Amazon Basics 3.5mm Aux to 2 RCA Adapter Audio Cable for Stereo Speaker or Subwoofer with Gold-Plated Plugs, plugged cable into sub. Works great! I have to turn down the gain on the sub.

the red cable (aux) you said is a RCA cable, that is connected to your PC? do i need a sound card that has RCA on my PC? or did you mean aux to aux?

usually they say hook it up to the orange looking audio port (center/sub out) on the motherbaord, and get a splitter cable, not sure witch one exactly but i belive a stero aux to rca cable will be sutible.@@SUDIPTOTECH

No. The input is already amplified. It is simply passing it on to the speakers.
