Learn How to Set up Enhanced Conversions in Google Ads using the Google Tag Manager. Enhanced Conversions helps in trackings conversions in a finer manner than used to go unmeasured earlier.
Enhanced Conversions helps Google to analyze user behavior in a more detailed manner and accordingly optimize the bids to give more conversions at a lesser cost.
Enhanced Conversions are different from Normal Conversions in a manner that along with the tag signal, it sends the user's details to Google. Google later analyzes the user behavior and helps us to optimize the campaign to get more conversions at lower costs.

Yes, you can set up enhanced conversion for all types of conversions. You can set button clicks as conversions in google ads by placing the custom script code on header section of the page button. You can do it through gtm also.
