@@Teslam3h changing them to --> transaction_id: "{{ order_number }}", AND currency: "{{ currency }}", worked for me

Change 'transaction_id' : '{{order.order_number}}' to transaction_id: {{order_number}} & 'currency' : '{{order.currency}}' to 'currency' : '{{currency}}' - do this in the data layer added to the checkout additional codes, worked for me.

Hi, Tried using the method but the data layer does not show currency & order ID

IDK about you guys but I had to research the right way to test order on shopify, NOT by putting just a "1" but using shopify test credit card numbers. And the currency + transaction id are not firing properly. I asked Chat GPT and let it corrected it for me. Now it's recording successfully. Chat GPT response for correction : I see. If the value is being recorded successfully but transaction_id and currency are not, the issue might be with the Liquid variables {{ order.order_number }} and {{ order.currency }}. In the context of the "Additional Scripts" field on the "Order status" page, you should be using the {{ order_number }} and {{ shop.currency }} Liquid objects instead.
