Wi-Fi Connection Tips:
The alexa plug works with wifi networks in most American homes. Please see below for the answers to the most frequently asked questions.
1. You can check the label on the router to see the frequency type, this plug outlet is suitable for Dual Band or Single Band 2.4GHz.
2. The Wi-Fi frequency can be modified by logging into the Management Interface on the router. The frequency needs to be set to 2.4GHz in order to connect to the smart plug successfully.

I am currently using them with lights, tried with a coffee maker but the coffee maker wouldn't turn on automatically when the switch turned on. That is the fault of the coffee maker though. Definitely recommend to anyone who needs to turn devices into smart devices.

What does it mean if the light on the smart plug is flashing red and magenta but it doesn’t say anything in the app?

i can't tell clearly unless i see it, but it seems that it is not connected properly, you can try uninstall and try to follow the steps again

Love these! They have made my life so much easier. I have 2 lamps and 1 fan connected to each and now I don’t have to get out of my comfy bed when I forget to turn off something downstairs! Wooo! So useful!
