Thank you Charles. Works, I have the 49g+ calculator so transition is not so bad. Took a little time changing from algebra mode to rpn. Had to use mode key then menu bar to select rpn

Great video. How do I activate the sd card slot or wire connection on the emulator so that I can install and transfer files from my pc?

Thanks for the contribution, unfortunately for the physical calculator, in ROM 2.15, BOOT V4.01.03.03 (Firmware: 4.02 Build 0106), the RIGHT shift + ENTER does not change from approx to numeric and vice versa, so I have not also gotten minimize the font size to the minimum in VIEW (it only stays at 6)

People, make sure you rename it as "ROM.49G" *(with the point to indicate the file extension),* not as "ROM49G" (without the point).

Changed the name of the ROM as you instructed. When I next tried to open the program, I got the popup box about the script, but clicking on the button did not open the calculator. Any idea why not? I'm using Windows 10 Home.

Is there a pc-based math program that uses reverse polish logic, can solve complex number matrices, is "object-driven", and has an unlimited stack? (In short behave like the HP 48?) Why oh why did they discontinue the line over there at HP? What's wrong with them? I bought second- hand an HP 48 to replace my old HP 48GX (that broke), but it's not going to last forever, and at some point, it may be impossible to find any old working calculators....

Elad Lending The executable and the ROM are all in the "Calculator" folder. Try downloading the zip file and extracting it and seeing if you can get the emulator going using that first.

Why do you advice people to use RPN mode? Most of the users would prefer the algebraic mode I think. RPN isn't that common.

It all depends what you're using it for. RPN takes a little while to become familiar with, but I in the end I think it's easier for constructing complicated equations with variables.
