New direction to the channel?

Not a new direction, just some content that people have been asking for. I wasn't a quickbooks user until 2024, so I figured it was time.

There we go! I wanted to do stuff like this earlier, but I never had a chance to use Quickbooks until 2024.

Hi Bassem, I have watched a few of your vids showing trading U.S covered calls in your TFSA. I am guessing that there is a constant conversion to Canadian dollars happening when collecting premium and periodically exercise of in the money etc. Are there any disadvantages to this back and forth currency conversion,? Thanks for your videos. G.

Hey, I actually just hold the USD currency, I don't convert anything actually. I would be losing a small % every conversion.

So if you sell a u.s covered call in your tfsa are the funds just held in us dollars,? It seems to me when I tried it a while ago it was automatically converted to canadian $'s. (I hold tfsa with Canadian bank). (May have to take that up with the bank I guess:) Thanks very much for your response.@@CanadianFinancePro

oh I guess Questrade has USD and CAD accounts, so its always in the source currency. I don't like trading with banks, their fees are too high.
