Thanks for this review. I've purchased it and this video was very informative. I'd like to mentioned that I thought when it came time for the food to go out it would have make a quick sound, but it did not, just spitting the food out.

That's correct, the feeder doesn't make a noise when dispensing, the noise comes from the kibble when hitting the stainless steel plate if it's empty, if the bowl has food already there's almost no noise. Thanks for your comment!

This is literally the only video I can find about this specific PetLibro feeder. Hope I'm not about to order some shoddy ditched product. Thanks for the video. In my opinion, the single serving is frankly too big.

Hello, the single serving of the video is equal to 3 portions. You can program the feeder to serve one portion per meal, which is equal to one tablespoon with small kibble and a little less with larger kibble, so it would be from 8g to 10g per serving.

How come my feeder dispensed food at 10:45 at night? I only programmed it for 6 am and 6 pm

Hi, if you program the feeder exactly as shown on the video it shouldn't do any extra dispensing other than the ones programmed. The only chances this could happen are a short power interruption, a kid or even the cat manipulating the manual feeding, or an unwanted programmed meal. None of these options may be your case so I suggest you call Petlibro customer service for help.

The feeding schedule repeats every day, no need to reprogram.

Do you know if this needs battery to run or I can just plug it in? I got mine - no batteries, I plug the power cord, the red light blinking but it doesn't turn on.

The feeder can operate only with AC power, the blinking red light indicates low food in the tank.

Hi Deborah, you have to check the guidelines and see how much food you want your cat to eat per day and then see the portion #. With this information, you program the feeder from meal #6 with the portion # according to how much you want to feed your cat per day. For example, if you want to feed your cat 1/3 cup of food per day you need to program the single daily meal with portion #8. Hope that helps.
