There still needs to be something to power the amplifier that is built into them. All wireless speakers have a belattery built in whether it's rechargeable or a straight plug-in. You can buy some that are 100% wireless but you will have to charge them when the battery dies

How long are the power cables? They do not look long enough to place the speakers more than 3 to 4 feet off the ground.

I have the stream bar and the wireless speakers set up as surround speakers. The problem is they are so quiet and can’t even tell they are on. How do I increase the volume of the rear speakers?

I have a sound bar too, and it is so quiet, it is no better than the roku tv w/out speakers.

Yes. Wireless connection, not power. Like many other kinds of speakers.

Can the wireless speakers pair with the Roku subwoofer? I have the Smart Soundbar and Subwoofer and want to add the wireless Speakers for a more immersive surround. But all the reviews online from like CNET, PCMAG claim they do not pair, they don’t work in tandem with the Soundbar. Can you please verify?

My Roku Streambar won't use its speakers while theses are connected. Sound plays out of the 2 Bluetooth speakers but not on the streambar speaker. I've looked everywhere but I'm at a loss, anyone know of a fix?

if you have to reset the speakers con the back buttons and configure everything again at the same time streambar speaker and subwoofer ir you have it

My sound bar is really a dud. No better than the roku tv itself. Are the wireless speakers better and worth it?

Definitely but depends on the size of the room. You might also want to get the subwoofer too.

Two things 1) why are there two versions of this speaker set? a) with two remotes, and b) no remotes?? 2) why does Canada only have the streambar?

One has voice control the other doesn't. Also the Walmart version(ONN) is supposedly less powerful or draws less Electricity.
