How To Set Up Smart Watering Programs With B-hyve

Received my bhyve XR today 9/6/23. Instead of setting a traditional watering program I went with Smart Watering. I have a lawn with 12 zones; 5 rotor heads per zone. I answered all the questions I’m in Central Virginia where the soil is typically clay. Once I finished answering and setting the start time for 2am, the schedule said it would begin at 2am and finish at 12pm!!! Watering each zone multiple times. 😮😢

Does it have history water? can I see when and how long zones where active?

1. Can I switch between smart watering and custom schedule if I set up both options on the controller. 2.For both options, if it suddenly rains during an ongoing watering schedule, will the timer stop or delay. Please advise, thanks

It is not recommended. If you already have the automatic/traditional program. You can turn on the weather delay feature. To do so go to my b-hyve and then devices. From there click on your device. Also in the device details turn on the water delay feature. To view how this works scroll a bit to the bottom and select Weather adjustments.

How do you set up the zones for irrigation hose? When asked about number of heads, etc. There is no option for irrigation hose. Thanks

Set it up NOT on smart watering. You can program the date time and duration.

Oh man this think is was over-designed and complicated. These instructions were a little all over the place.
