Understand this tutorial is for DR 16 but Black Magic has completely changed the BUS format & BUS Assign in 17 & I for one would love to see a tutorial on the New Fairlight BUS (STUFF) and how to do 5.1 in DR 17.1.1 Build 9

Ok how do you preview your track by connecting your home receiver and 5.1 system to listen before you output? I see so many tutorials on the software but nobody actually making tracks and showing how to build it out.

I.ve meen trying for years to create 5.1 Surround with DR 16 I'm using a Vizio SB3651 E-6 sound bar Thru a HDTV for a second Monitor and Computer Speakers. When I do PREFERENCE/ Video/Audio Speaker Config: Manual Monitor set: MAIN Devise: Vizio Nvidia HIGH DEFINITION audio Monitor set format: 5.1 Film It only shows 2 channels to assign to the 6 speakers. But then my laptop speakers show 8 channels and (I think it only has 2 speakers) to assign to the 6 channels. Any Idea what I'm doing wrong or if the Vizio SB is compatible with DR 16? It seems to play everything 5.1 without going thru DR but sounds almost right thru DR too. Any ideas.

One thing: G933 only allows surround in MME mode. Offers KS and WDM modes, but those don't work with surround. Other than that, nice video.

I can't send anything to my Subwoofer. Where do you place the Little blue square in the Audio Pan Panel for the LFE channel? My channels for 5.1 are FL, FR, C, LFE. LS, RS. Thanks

Went back to an older Turtle Beach 5.1 surround system and DR 17.1.1 Build 9 and know sees all 6 speakers in (Preferences/Audio & Video I/O LF, RF, C, LFE, LS, RS in that order. I can make the sound from the respective MONO Track goto the correct speakers But can not get track 4 LFE to immet sound. Where do I put the BLUE square to send audio to the LFE.
