You DO NOT want to use any type of magnet to hold your shears or any of the common clipper mats with the magnet that holds the clippers by the blade. Putting a metal object on a magnet for a long period of time, it causes the metal to become magnetized. When people come in for haircuts, they have microscopic levels of metals in their hair and your shears and clipper blades. will get to the point to where they get full of debris from it. You’re much better off going on Amazon and ordering a mountable scissor rack.

Just a heads up from an old traditionalist, a "station" is a section of tables a waitress serves. Or perhaps beauty operators might use this term, but we barbers should use barber shop lingo. So our cabinet where we work off of is our "back bar," or "work bench," or simply "work area." And the cloth we drape over a client should NEVER be called a cape! Heaven forbid! That screams beauty shop if I ever heard it. We barbers should refer to it as a "chair cloth," or less often, but still correct, "hair cloth." The beauty industry has already stolen much of our client base over the years, lets not let them influence what we call our equipment! Best wishes!
