Hi, excellent explanation, I have a question for you, using the lights in sound mode, when the sound volume is high (always in a live show :-D) the lights are always in strobe mode, do you think there is a way to avoid this, I would give up quietly to the strobe effect. Thank you Diego

You have to hook up the system to a soundboard the soundboard can take it out of the strobe mode

Great video! Question for you.. I set the lights to Nsts mode to follow music (no dmx control). When I clap next to the light it will change for a second, but when I play loud music it isn't responding. Any recommendations for getting the lights to respond to music?

The light doesn't have to be set to dmx 001 if your master slave only if your useing a dmx controller

I really like your information. I have A few minor suggestions that may help your next video. I am not trying to offend you, just simply helping your presentation. The cable ends are called XLR. Although XLR cables and DMX cables are similar in look and fit, a true DMX cable is insulated differently to shield out unwanted signals. As we are DJs, most of us would never need them as we work with a small number of fixtures and short cables. So a regular XLR mic cable will work. Please, have someone hold your camera. I was dizzy with all the camera shaking. Lol! I offer well wishes to you and your well being. Cheers.

I can't actually get XLR cables to fit... they have a tiny raised line that won't fit on the female end. edit: it fits one but not the other... interesting.

I however am trying to offend you. As a professional lighing tech. They are called DMX. They are different cables. To say that XLR and DMX are the same is fucking absurd. You are a DJ. Stick to that. Don't try to act like you know more than you do. There is a difference between XLR and DMX cabling. XLR cannot support the same amount of channels in a universe and this is a fact. Not an opinion. Educate yourself before you comment some fucking dumb shit like this.

Well how to set up a X/y series/class you will need to buy a DJ light board where you can control the movement of both of your lights then you will be able to use the DJ board to set the movements of the lights to whatever you want and you also can change the colors anytime the movements in the spans in the speed.
