My Pimax USB hub is very flaky. The problem appears to be the USB connection between the Hub and PC on the Hub side. It appears to have a proprietary connection that does not fully slide into the Hub. I can see a 1/16in of metal still exposed. Is it advisable to bypass the Hub altogether. Or will Pimax supply a new one. This has been an issue off and on since I received the Crystal a few years ago.

I was thinking about upgrading my quest 3. But from the comments it looks like I’m already with the best headset for price and ease of use. Can’t wait for the quest 4 with oled screens.

how to set up a pimax plug it in, then hope and pray you have nothing urget to do for the next 45 minutes while the headset decides whether it wants to turn on or not. I basically have a PHD in solving computer problem, and trust me people there is nothing easy about getting a pimax to turn on, its completely random. Watch any youtuber who has reviewed any pimax product.

Need to know how to hot swap battery without turning the headset off or resetting it. I tried holding down the power button for a few seconds that doesn’t work it seems to turn off the headset.

Why the hell that every time you guys put out an update it screws something else up? I tell you what, I am going on You Tube on every site and explain to people how much a pain is the ass this headset is. From having to restart your computer just to turn in on. Now the Eye tracking justs stops working which means I have to recalibrate, which means leaving game and restarting computer, now my batteries are only lasting an hour. Oh and the little bracket that holds your head strap to the headset will break it's a cheap little piece of plastic, It's like putting a Fiat motor in a Roll Royce, The Fix? Take a hacksaw blade and cut a slit in the actual headset. This is not me folks. I have had this headset since day one. You want to make me happy? Send me a new one. I will not send you this one until I have a new one in hand because I do not trust you, I never did get my free lens you promised when I was one of the first 500.

Your software for a headset this price is Sxxt. Sorry sometimes not recognizing USB or freezing. Fix it

Something has definitely changed with the Crystal. Some sort of hidden update or something, because after 16 months of use, it recently started to give me trouble simply connecting! As many here have also noted this issue. Very frustrating. WTF is going on??

Can you tell me the size of the box? I will travel to Europe and will buy the Crystal there. I want to know if it will fit in my backpack.

It is quite big...won't fit in a conventional backpack...you are better off getting the small luggage you can take on the plane as a carry on

10500 error, no connection. followed all instructions, tried all recommendations i found on the web for a week now and still nothing. graphics card is a 3080ti. ideas?

I know this looks nice but this company is terrible to work with. they will take your money and make you wait weeks if not months before even processing and delivering your order, best part is when(/if) you get it, there's a pretty solid chance it will be broken. now get this, even after waiting months, receiving a broken product, and consulting their customer support, they wont help you, they wont even try to let you refund your purchase. I know this comment will get deleted but if you happen to see it, PLEASE save yourself the trouble and stop supporting bad business practices like those found at Pimax. if you are looking to get into VR, do it with LITERALLY any other company.
