Thanks for the help I personally use a Samson g track pro with a shock mount, felt cover and pop filters attached to a boom arm. Might be a bit over kill for gaming but it works! Wasn’t sure where to put it as I have a small L desk and at first didn’t want it in my camera but after seeing yours I don’t think it looks too bad infact I’m starting to like it. Back to the grind tomorrow (and restarting on KZbin) but best of luck :)

Hi, was just wondering if you could help. I have an old boom arm and I bought a samson q2u recently. It can't seem to fit into the mounting screw thread? the hole is too big xD, what do I need to get? a new arm all together? or can I somehow just change the thread?

Just check if your mic or boom arm came with an adaptor? I've had the same boom arm for years and it has fit a hyperX, Razer Siren Mini & A Rode mic

the mic is fine, its just prob not set up as good as it can be, not everyone wants to shill out 400$ for a mic if they arent a streamer or youtuber, i just like mics cause i think they look cool and sound nice but im not gonna spend that much if i dont get it back from it

@@RealForensicTV The mic was only 1 of 4 points. You can get great sound with a cheap mic (even the builtin ones on a phone) if you know what you're doing.

i had a cheap boomarm and it ended up breaking, so i bought the rode boomarm and yeah its by far better (ofc i expected it to be better due to the price)

i just got one but my desk is shakey and the boom arm shakes making my mic pick up that audio, is there any filter or suggestions to help fix that issue, i use streamlabs obs so if anyone uses that and could help that would be awesome!

If you place your desk up against a wall or even in a corner it should eliminate the shaking

Could try and tether the desk to a wall with an angle bracket or strap.

hey dude, if you end up getting this notification and still have this problem, amazon has some desk stabilizers that work pretty well. You can either get a brace for the center, or wedges for the legs. If you got an Arozzi desk wobble issue, flip the desk over and tighten the hex screws going from corner to corner. Much love.

I wana get a boom arm and mic, not for streaming but for when I play with friends. I tried headset but I would really love to just use the speakers and a mic. My only worry is that the mic may hang between my eyes and the monitor. But I think it should be posible to adjust it so it does not block my sight?

You can adjust the boom arm at least but also I've noticed that when playing I get so focused I don't even see the mic thats right infront of me... like my brain blocks it out haha
