I sold my gt2 and rc10t2 (aluminum tub chasis from back when everyone thought a chasis should be as stiff as possible back in the 90's). Now it seems like the car's handle better, but they seem more "flexy", and less durable too, what is up with that??

So how tight should the nut be as per first build, before adjusting…(manual says flush with end of pin). This is far too loose, I’ve now tightened, no barking but can’t get the front wheels to jump. Don’t want to over do it, or am I being too careful? Does it need to be toghter

I have the Prosc10 trophy...I have a ???? pinion gears and spurs..I bought a 24 tooth pinion,,not thinking,,now what size spur is needed.. is there a list of matching gears someplace? up and down cause i want to get a 14 also..
@zacf855 жыл бұрын
Late response BUT - you want to gear for the track/track surface, and ESC/motor temps. However a larger track with longer/more straights will want a taller ratio (larger pinion/smaller spur) vs a short/technical track that will favor a lower ratio (smaller pinion/larger spur). Find a base ratio to use for the track you're running, and adjust it for ESC/motor temps from there. On RC10.com - click on the model you have, and click/find the download/instructions area - there is whats called setup sheets - you can view team drivers setups of a specific models settings - I based my SC6.1 build off one of the sheets listed for a short track, and adjusted the listed gear ratio according to the out of the box setup as my local indoor track is TINY and technical vs my local outdoor (large 1/8 scale track).
