I have been curious about doing a bio-active. I am worried enough about my snakes, I think worrying about plants, isopods and more would be too much. But you did a good job explaining it.
@cloudcolubrids46032 жыл бұрын
There's nothing wrong with not going bioactive. I've been doing them for years with my frogs. Oneday you can try it out the key is get a decent plant light and picking the rite plants

totally saving this video for my garters!!! I have a florida blue checkered and a super cute lil girl who is a granite grey checkered.
@cloudcolubrids46032 жыл бұрын
Those sound really nice. I will have blue phase coming from overseas later in the year. It's always fun to make these and thank you for watching. I'm glad it was helpful

Could you discuss temps in your next garter video? Great content keep it up man. Your easygoing vibe is wonderful.
@cloudcolubrids46032 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much and yes I can do that. Unlike some cornsnakes and kingsnakes these garter snakes really benefit from a basking area with a heat lamp or light that emits heat. We will discuss this in the next video
@kamodedo60782 жыл бұрын
Great video thank you! Been looking forward to this one as I'm lookin at making similar either for garter or Thai bamboo rat not sure which yet! Thanks,hope you good!

@cloudcolubrids46032 жыл бұрын
Thanks Liberty, yeah I'd rather get bit by a kingsnake than get musked by these. I'll be sure to make a.video when I introduce them Into the tank

Man I want some baby red sided garters someday! I’d love to buy some in the future If you have luck with them. Hopefully by that point I’m ready. We got to move into a bigger place and my future goal is a bio active red sided group tank :-)
