When I began trying to learn more, I found your channel, and I just think everything you are doing is great. If I do decide to create one of my own eventually, I'll definitely be using your products. I appreciate how informational your videos are. Great job, dude

I love this video, i based my screen vivarium on this construction,- especially the Ficus tree in which i found serves as both a hide,massive decor,drink station,ambush sites for flying prey like black soldier fly wasps,etc.,tranverse around the vivarium,etc. It makes the vivarium look like a mini Jurassic park/ world dino enclosure.

I am interested in using this for a ootheca that was laid in my home by mama praying mantis. Each ootheca potentially can hatch about 200 nymphs. I thought to set them up with a bioactive five area and was wondering if you had any feedback on any knowledge that that may be something this cage can provide. I noticed that a lot of people use the plexiglass or glass for them but I like perhaps better to air all the way around and also the ability for them to climb which they love

I know I'm some years late, but with your potted plants what I like to do is pull them from the pots, cut about half of their rootball/soil off and replant them in a pot at least a size or two bigger. Never had an issue with them after that. They've lasted long enough to either be traded with someone else as they got to big or trimmed back enough to in the end become good for something else

How you maintain temperature nightime drop and humidity (fog) in cage like this? These jacksons are very sensitive to that. Willegensis about 16°C and 90-100% over night, xantholophus almost same. Also how you provide heat spot with uvb for them. Dont saw it in clip.

Hi Travis. You can use a drainage layer with the Terra Firma, but it may not work as well. With the way that substrate is deigned, I feel it would dry out much faster.

Robotgaming155 ya I mean this with zero disrespect, but he looks very young to have created his own business based on substrates and the like, specifically for reptiles etc. What exactly are his credentials (not saying he has to have a degree, but you don't take your pets to "a guy I know," if they need medical attention, does that make sense), if any to make claims that this, or that, are the best etc? It's obvious he's passionate, and I'm not saying he's ignorant, however with that said he's still selling a product so why wouldn't you plug your own brand?

Hey there! for best results We would recommend the use of a screen enclosure For chameleons as they tend to thrive a lot better in those. That is why we use and recommend the chameleon pouches so that the substrate stays inside of the enclosure :) Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any further questions!

@TheBioDudeJoshHalter
@TheBioDudeJoshHalter 5 жыл бұрын
Hi Prince Ninja. The bottom of the cage is plastic and all the sides are screen. With the way the tree pouch is designed to work, you water will drain to the bottom of the soil. The pouch is breathable, so it allows for evaporation. You should have a leaking issue unless you severely overwater it.

@CloudsAndDays
@CloudsAndDays 5 жыл бұрын
Jacob Bartnik If you’re asking if they can share an enclosure with other chams, I don’t think any chameleon can be housed with other chameleons. They’re territorial animals and will get aggressive. This is especially if they are of different species. If you’re asking if they can use the same type of enclosure as another type of chameleon, even though they’re smaller chameleons, having a cage set for a veiled or panther should work for a Jackson, but you’ll have to adjust the humidity settings.
