How to setup a Netgear Nighthawk and Update Firmware!

In this video we will show you how to setup and install a Netgear nighthawk Router. We will also make sure the firmware is updated since this is always good practice. You will need a phone to get through the setup easier and then you can control your router with the mobile app and even setup a guest WIFI Lan for people that visit you at your house! Again Good practice to have your guest not on your main WIFI put then I'm your guest WIFI with this Netgear router!

Since it was released in 2017, is it still better than the default fiber routers u would get from the internet service provider company's, since this nighthawk router is 7 years old already?

I just got me a and plugged it up was working great but I did a reset and not it keeps putting me in setup mode and I keep going through setup mode over and over and it's not wanting to see the router for some reason can anyone help?

@@bossmanboss3087 have you tried using just the app for setup or just the web interface and are you able to run and firmware update on it?

@@GreyTechLive It just keeps asking me for my email and two secret questions over and over after I do that and tells me to reset the modem and router I did that and it repeats itself over and over can't get it to do anything else

The app is horrible. My next router won't be a netgear.

Thats lame... it only gives the options to try again or skip... nothing about why or ways to troubleshoot.. just "firmware check error" at the top and those 2 options at the bottom..?
